Shed, Dog & Garage Plans – Everyone Can Become a Backyard Builder
By DavidCockle
Hi guys
I often receive emails and questions from folks who are concerned that they won’t have the necessary skills to build a particular DIY project.
“Is it possible for an office worker with no handyman skills to build a doghouse?”
“I am sick of my wife teasing me about my inability to fix anything around the house, I want to prove her wrong and build a garage – Can you PLEASE help me?”
I believe that any man can build a successful backyard project if they get the right help and guidance. Obviously there are some projects that are going to be more complicated than others but as long as you start within your capabilities I assure you that you will be presently surprised at the results.
Where do you Begin?
After you have decided what it is you will be building you need to find some plans to follow. The only exception to this is if you are going to employ somebody to help with the job but considering you are reading a DIY blog I will assume that you are going to do it by yourself. Finding the right plans can be very hard because most garage plans only include 1 option. They don’t take into account the variables in the project and in the location where you are building it.
What Would I Suggest
Send me an email and I would love to help you out. If you would like to know what plans I recommend then you can have a look at BackyardBuilder.info – These are the only sets of plans that I use these days. The best thing about them is that there are literally 14,000 different blueprints, plans, instructions and step by step directions. If you find something better then please let me know because I am always trying to provide the best advice for my readers (to be honest I would be very surprised if you were to find anything better).
Please don’t hesitate to email me your questions, I would be more than happy to help.
